Cooking has always been my passion. When I was a little girl I loved to cook, spending hours in the kitchen with my mother or alone trying to improvise something to eat. Today, I am still that same little girl playing in the kitchen because I like to experiment with different tastes and textures.
For me, food is not only nourishing but also comforting, loving, fun, pleasurable, and stimulating and well-being. But the main reason I love to cook is that it keeps me stress-free. I find something very soothing about cooking and preparing a meal at the end of a busy day.
For example when I am cooking I have very little time to think, because the cooking is challenging my mind and taking my mind off the stress of everyday life, but when I’m really angry and or in a very bad mood I MUST stay away from the kitchen as I will transfer all my bad energy on the ingredients and the result won’t be the expected one.
An important aspect of cooking is also the way food brings people together and puts a smile on their faces, and if I cook for my friends (usually on celebrations) the biggest pay is that they like my food and had a good experience.
I try to keep my food simple, tasty and nutritious because the food is an amazing thing and I am still discovering its possibilities. I would be delighted if you would share this journey with me.
